'This project started with my discovery of the book "Screen Lovers" by Anne Billson, (Conran Octopus/St Martin's Press, 1988). The images within the book's pages are of romantic, sexually charged film stills throughout movie history. As I looked through them, I really wanted to see them come together, touch lips, make love, whatever comes next, so I followed my instinct and started folding them into one another' - Eli Craven

We do love collage. It's the 'craftiness' we are drawn too, the cut and paste mentality.

The way seemingly opposite elements can be brought together to create something very different to their singular meaning. Layer upon layer, leaving the viewer to decide what they want to take from it.

We discovered Charles Wilkin a while ago, and there is something that just keeps us going back time and time again. Always something to rediscover in his chopped up world. He's been quite prolific of late, you only need to check his tumblr to see the vast works from 2013. We hope to add one to our collection very soon, but at the rate he is going, deciding which one is going to be very hard.
