It's here. IT'S. HERE. The trailer for Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby is finally here and we don't care what anyone says, it looks AWESOME. Luhrmann's signature hyper-real, oil-slick aesthetic combined with those beautiful depression-era costumes and art direction are just too good. We're still loving the 1930s, ever since our Limits collection (and you can see more backstage shots from the collection here), which melded futuristic textures and fabrications with the razzle dazzle of the roaring 20s and 30s glitz and glamour. Who doesn't love a bit of glitter? Catherine Martin certainly does (check out those diamonds on Carey Mulligan!). We love that this trailer is everything we thought it would be and more, and it only makes us more excited to see the movie. If only we didn't have to wait 6 months...
