BENAH LOVES | Out of Africa

Out of Africa screencaps - source

We watched this on the weekend and it was every bit as fantastic as we remembered. There are almost too many things to say about this movie, but here are a few. Meryl Streep's complete and utter radiance - those cheekbones! that hair! that glow! The fantastic turn-of-the-century costumes, that move from Karen's formal dresses into the relaxed chinos and linen shirts and polished knee-high boots of safari-living. The beautiful score, soaring and majestic and the perfect match for the film's incredible cinematography and shots of wide, brown Africa. The way Karen would wear her scarf tied across her body. The love story. The hair-washing scene. Oh, and Robert Redford. Of course. The original hunk, the golden boy, the free spirit, the heart-and-soul of the film. And he even took the gramophone on safari...

BENAH LOVES | Archer and Georgia

Cashmere, coffee, muesli, beanies. That's a recipe for a fantastic morning. We caught up with our friend Georgia at Bourke Street Bakery last week and she looked so cute in our Archer pom pom beanie we had to snap a picture. She shared with us her idea of wearing a beanie to the races in her home town and we think it's a fantastic scheme - how about a DIY Jil Sander-inspired number with veil netting? Warm and dressy. There are a million ways to wear our Archer beanie this winter (see Sara from Harper and Harley in it here and our friend Talisa from Badlands in hers). How would you style it?

BENAH LOVES | Natalie Joos

We still can't quite get over all the love that Natalie Joos gave us during MBFWA. She wore new season Benah bags throughout the week - and shot them for her blog - and looked fantastic in them. She's always been a big fan and supporter of Benah and for that we thank her, just as she thanked us in a post recently. With her eccentric, modern-yet-vintage, fun-loving style she truly is the Benah girl. We are touched that she loves us as much as we love her. We know that this is just the start of a beautiful friendship.

Natalie's two-tone suede and leather Zohra clutch, stripe mini Kodi and burgundy medium Tara will be available for purchase next season, so stay tuned for more information!

THIS IS MY CITY | Hannah-Rose's Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a surprising city, the kind of place that the expression "don't judge a book by its cover" was written about. You can go there one time and see everything and nothing, and you can go there a hundred times and still be surprised by what emerges from this melting pot of European and Chinese cultures. From a French bakery next to a traditional wedding stationery printer to the Asian fusion restaurants that are just as popular as the British gastropubs, don't ever think you've got a grip on Hong Kong, because it'll just go and change on you. This is Hong Kong, by Hannah-Rose.

all photos by Hannah-Rose Yee

one. Best thing about Hong Kong? Yum Cha at all times of the day (and night!).

two. Worst thing about Hong Kong? The weather. In Summer it can reach sweltering, monsoon-y, sweaty temperatures because of the humidity, and the past couple of winters have been quite bitter, especially around Wanchai where my grandparents live which is right on the harbour of Hong Kong island. And everywhere inside is air-conditioned, which means that even in the depths of summer you need to bring a jacket with you to counter-act those freezing temperatures inside restaurants and buildings and shopping centres.

three. Favourite secret spot? To try and increase the amount of greenery and shared public spaces amongst the ocean of concrete that is the character of the urban high-rise city, Hong Kong's government started to introduce all of these hidden gated gardens around the city and its main streets. There's not one in particular, but any of them will do, a place to sit down surrounded by the tranquility of ferns and tall trees and pretend, even for a second, that you're not in a big city.

four. Favourite everyone-knows-it-but-it's-still-good spot? The Star Ferry. It's not really a spot, more like a thing to do, and not only does everyone know about it but everyone HAS to use it to get across to Kowloon side. But for only a handful of pocket change that translates to less than an Australian dollar, you can get the best views of the city as you ride across the ocean. You don't have to pay for a fancy scenic yacht tour or anything, just sit back maybe even lean against the metal barrier. It's best at night-time to see all of those mega-story building complexes really light up (the last Ferry is at 9 I think!!).

 view from the Star Ferry

five. What is your newest discovery in Hong Kong? What about somewhere you've been going since forever but can't quite give up? My newest discovery would be a real, authentic French bakery in the heart of Wancha, the Chez Patrick Deli, where you can get fresh baguettes and cheese at all hours of the day. The place I've been going to always but will never give up is Chung's cuisine in Times Square, Causeway Bay. This place is ridiculously good - traditional chinese food with a modern spin. The spiced soya chicken with apple sauce is my favourite Chinese dish, and the crispy pork belly is insanely good. I've been going to Chung's with my family for ages now, and I don't think we'll ever stop.

six. Where is the best place for.... morning coffee? meal with friends? romantic rendez-vous? late night drink? even later-night boogie? When I was last in Hong Kong I stumbled across a couple of cute cafes near my grandparents' house in Wanchai which had pretty decent coffee and fantastic breakfast options. One of them was Classified at 31 Wing Fung St, which is a mozzarella bar by night and brunch spot by day. For a great value lunch with friends I would say somewhere in Mid levels, if only because the walk down is so much fun and there are plenty of shops to peruse with mates. I really like the Brunch Club, which is another cute cafe with white-washed walls and comfy lounge chairs, but Bistro Marmite is pretty good as well, if you're after a bit of classic French fare. Romantic rendez-vous? You'd have to go somewhere with a view! Amber at the Mandarin Oriental (the most beautiful hotel in Hong Kong by far) is right up there. Follow it up with a drink at The Pawn, one of my favourite places in Hong Kong. It's a British gastropub which has a pretty decent restaurant and excellent, show-stopping cocktails. Try the wild raspberry vodka, raspberry puree and ginger beer concoction if it's on the menu. And for a late night boogie? The best place used to be Yumla, an underground hip hop and electronica club, but it's just closed down. So I'll have to recommend a place I've never been - XXX - and hope that it lives up to the hype the next time I go back...

 muesli at Classified, Wanchai

seven. Where are Hong Kong's style spots? Where is the best shopping? Hong Kong is the city of the supermall, with several of them dotting the tiny island and Kowloon filled with megabrands and department stores. My favourites are Pacific Place in Admiralty, which has the best branch of Hong Kong's designer department store Lane Crawford - where you can pick up 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang and Stella McCartney, as well as small outposts of European chain stores like Zara and H&M. Landmark is in Central and it's got you covered for high-end designer. There are not one but TWO Celine stores, a Harvey Nichols (where you can ogle the Smythson embossed travel wallets) and a beautiful Dries Van Noten store modelled off the one on the Quai Malaquais in Paris (with Frederic Malle parfums and all!). It's opposite Shanghai Tang, which is Hong Kong's riff on traditional Chinese fashion for the luxury market, opposite a massive Marks & Spencer's (if you're into that thing) and Joyce, which is kind of like Hong Kong's Belinda, a multi-brand boutique with a fabulous beauty section stocking Diptyque, Serge Lutens and even Aesop and Grown. In Causeway Bay I always go straight to Paterson street where you can find A.P.C, Isabel Marant and Vanessa Bruno. Little Paris!

But the best shopping is actually at the outlet stores at Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau, about a 15-20 minute drive out of the centre of Hong Kong (a very big distance in such a small island). You'll find most of the brands I mentioned above - Lane Crawford, Joyce and I.T, the concept store that owns the franchising on A.P.C and Isabel Marant in Hong Kong - and many more. Sure, you gotta dig deep and there's a load of crap hanging around, but you can also find some gems that you thought were lost to the ehter, like all of that YSL plexiglass that everyone loved so much, or ribbed turtleneck sweaters from the Givenchy apres-ski collection.

eight. What is something you can get/read/experience/eat that you can only do in Hong Kong?
Do that traditional Hong Kong thing and get a lunch special. The one at To Yuen noodle is crazy good - noodles with your choice of meat, toast with scrambled egg and ham and your choice of coffee and tea all for HKD28 - or less than $3 AUD. This kind of meal is viewed as a traditional Hong Kong tea set and it's popular all around the country. You have to check out the mid-levels escalators, the longest covered escalators in the world. You can jump on and off at will, but it's kind of fun to ride the thing all the way to the top. Go to an all-nighter restaurant. I don't know what it is about Hong Kong but it literally never sleeps. There are so many places to get food that are open all night, from noodles to greasy western-style fry ups. And finally, it's such a Hong Kong thing to join a queue. Whether waiting for the lifts or to get onto the train, there are plenty of opporunities to get in line in Hong Kong. The best kind? When you're waiting for one of only 200 bowls of perfect Ramen that will come out of a hole in the wall in Central called Butao. You wait for an hour but the result is utter perfection: slippery yet still chewy noodles, and a gloriously salty broth.

 Bamboo on the street

nine. You can tell a lot about a city from their airport. Describe Hong Kong. State of the art and kind of space-agey and so efficient. This is the way airports really ought to be. You can shop at Celine or Zara or Chanel before you flight or even grab a full yum cha service. The only slightly disconcerting thing is how damn big it is. You have to catch a quick shuttle between terminals, and it's easy to forget that this can add a little bit of time to your trip from customs to gate...

ten. How would you describe Hong Kong to someone who has never been there before? The real city that never sleeps.

BENAH LOVES | The Great Gatsby

It's here. IT'S. HERE. The trailer for Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby is finally here and we don't care what anyone says, it looks AWESOME. Luhrmann's signature hyper-real, oil-slick aesthetic combined with those beautiful depression-era costumes and art direction are just too good. We're still loving the 1930s, ever since our Limits collection (and you can see more backstage shots from the collection here), which melded futuristic textures and fabrications with the razzle dazzle of the roaring 20s and 30s glitz and glamour. Who doesn't love a bit of glitter? Catherine Martin certainly does (check out those diamonds on Carey Mulligan!). We love that this trailer is everything we thought it would be and more, and it only makes us more excited to see the movie. If only we didn't have to wait 6 months...

THIS IS MY CITY | Estelle's Melbourne

Good old Melbourne. City of artists and culture (and food!) and museums and fashion (and really really good food!) and coffee and laneways (and excellent, mouth-watering food!). We've always loved Melbourne's creative instincts and vibrancy, and only wish we got to spend more time there. One lucky girl who lives in Melbourne is Estelle Dévé, talented jewellery designer and lovely thing with excellent taste. Her molten creations are both futuristic and archaeological, informed by art and history and literature and culture. We knew she would be the perfect person to put together a Melbourne guide for us, and her picks have us dreaming of a little mini-break to the Victorian capital. This is Melbourne, by Estelle.

one. Best thing about Melbourne? This is going to sound cheesy, but.. my boyfriend and the close group of friends I've made along the years. I feel like I could be in the most amazing place, if they weren't around, it wouldn't be worth it. Fun is meant to be shared! That, and the fact that I can find the best Asian, Spanish, Greek and Italian food within any 20 minutes tram ride.

two. Worst thing about Melbourne? The weather (9 months a year of rain and cold anyone?), and the cuteness overload: if I have to see another knitted tea cosy, pair of clogs or fawn ceramic collection I might have to just give up on life altogether..

three. Favourite secret spot? "Shanghai 1930" 959 Whitehorse road, Box Hill.  It's a bit of a trek but best Chinese food ever! My amazing friend Jade (stylist extraordinaire!) took me there for the first time a few weeks ago and were definitely going back soon! Try the Jellyfish, it's amazing!

four. Favourite everyone-knows-it-but-it's-still-good spot? "Movida", 164 Flinders street, Melbourne. Mom is half Spanish and I've been brought up on Spanish food so this is little a little taste of home. A Melbourne institution: it's in-cre-dible! & "Chin chin" at 125 Flinders Lane, Melbourne. Asian fusion at its best: great food and even more amazing cocktails. Be prepared to wait though, there's no bookings and a never ending flow of hungry people waiting around.

 Movida - source

five. What is your newest discovery in Melbourne? After all those years, I've finally taken the time (read: been dragged by my friends) to rent a private Karaoke room in the CBD. I have blurry memories of singing 90s R'N'B favourite on top of my lungs, dancing on tables and rolling myself on the floor with laughter. We have nothing like this in France and I have to admit: it is a lot of fun. My favourite so far has been "K-Box" 52 LaTrobe street, Melbourne. What about somewhere you've been going since forever but can't quite give up? "Mixed Business", 486 Queens Parade, Clifton Hill Breakfast is easily my favourite meal of the day and even though I've been there hundreds of times, this place is always going to be my favourite. Try the Potato and Rosemary rosti with poached eggs. It's a winning combo. While you're waiting for a table, check out the florist next door, they always have the most amazing things..

six. Where is the best place for.... morning coffee? meal with friends? romantic rendez-vous? late night drink? even later-night boogie? There's plenty of good coffee in Melbourne and I find it hard to to pick a favourite. However, if I feel like something different I'll go get amazing green tea and Japanese breakfast at "Cibi" 45 Keele street, Collingwood. Or I'll get the perfect hot chocolate at "Monsieur Truffe", 351 Lygon street, Brunswick East, round the corner from my house. For a meal with friends I like "Gorski and Jones" 304 Smith street, Collingwood. Modern Australian cuisine to share, and a great selection of wine. Definitely one of my all time favourite. Don't forget to try the Kingfish carpaccio! And when my bank account says no, we'll all meet for Char-grilled chicken Pho at "Meekong" 241 Swanston street, Melbourne. The legend says that Bill Clinton had 8 bowls in one sitting there! I'm personally happy with just the one: it's tasty, filling and for $9.50 you won't find better.  For romance you can't go past "Matteos" 533 Brunswick street, Fitzroy north. A pretty fancy looking place, white tablecloth, chandeliers and all.. and still the only place I know where you can get both amazing sashimi, a mind blowing cheese plate and a great bottle of wine, all on the same night. The boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary and we had an amazing night. "Cutler and co" 55-57 Gertrude st, Fitzroy. Did anyone say cocktails and dessert? For dancing.... At the risk of sounding pretty old, I don't think I've truly enjoyed a night out in a club for a while.. I feel like Melbourne is more of a house/street party city anyway.. Put a disco ball in your living room, some 90s hip hop and I'm all yours!

 Cibi - source

seven. Where are Melbourne's style spots? Where is the best shopping? There again, I tend to shop a lot more when I'm away on holidays or in a different city, so I probably wouldn't be the best a recommending stores in Melbourne. I do A LOT of online shopping (to fulfill my Dries Van Noten addiction) or buy stuff from Acne as it's just easy.. However when I find a little bit of spare time, I try to check out Incu and Green With Envy. They've both been supporters of my label for years and are carrying a plethora of brands I enjoy.

eight. What is something you can get/read/experience/eat that you can only do in your Melbourne? Go to Fritz gelato and have the best hot cross bun ice cream you could ever dream of.

nine. You can tell a lot about a city from their airport. Describe yours. All you need to know is: Cafe Vue lunch boxes at the International terminal. Best. Plane food. Ever "Cafe Vue", Tullamarine Airport, Terminal 2.

ten. How would you describe Melbourne to someone who has never been there before? 4-seasons-in-one-day-food-capital-city.

Melbourne's charm - Tuula

BENAH LOVES | Camo

So first it was mirrored sunglasses, now we're going to let you in on our exclusive taste-making suggestions for next season... Camo. That's right. Camo. Not just things in khaki or army-green, but proper patterned camouflage print. Pants, jackets, skirts, shirts... We're fans of it all. Those puzzle pieces of shaded greens, neutral beiges and dark navys and blacks are so compellingly easy to wear. Could this be the next denim? You can definitely pair it with anything, from mesh sweaters to worn-in tee shirts to tailored blazers. You can dress it up or dress it down. You can definitely double up on camo pieces like you can with denim. It looks great with navy blue, burgundy and tan - three of our favourite colours for next season. We can't see any problem here. So please excuse us while we head over to the Army Surplus store. Right. Now.

BENAH LOVES | Little things

all photos: Benah
1: Benah Large Zip pouch, Medium Zip pouch, coin purse, 2: Tulips!, 3: Kodi cuff in Bordeaux and Blush, 4: Orion belt in black and holographic, 5: Kodi cuff in Pistachio and Navy blue

As we try to keep warm in our studio today we're focusing on the little things. We love our little zip pouches - large, medium and coin purse sized - for keeping everything organised. A holographic belt is the best way to bring a little bit of excitement to a winter outfit of snuggly charcoals and navy blues. Bunches of flowers always brighten up winter days, as do our favourite Kodi cuffs in the new season colours. We're not sure which one we like the best, but today we picked Pistachio, to remind us of what Summer looks like.

To place an order on the Orion belt in holographic or black or the large zip pouch, medium zip pouch or coin purse in bordeaux email info@thebenah.com

THIS IS MY CITY | Elise's Paris

We loved putting together our Wanderlust - five well-travelled friends of Benah (Anna, Giselle, Linlee, Alice and Natalie) sharing their holiday secrets - that we thought we'd do something similar this month. This time, we're putting together the ultimate insider's guide to some of the best cities around the world, from London to New York, with Bogota, Auckland, Tokyo and even some Australian cities thrown in for good measure. We can't wait to share these with you, and hope you pick up some tips for your next holiday. First city stepping up to the plate? The city of light and love and lemon tarts all of that good stuff - Paris, by Elise Pioch.

Image of Elise by Adrian Mesko

one. Best thing about Paris? High heels on bicycles.

two. Worst thing about Paris? The French attitude (I hope I can say this, because I really mean it!)  (Benah note: Elise is actually French, so she is allowed to say things like this!)

three. Favourite secret spot? The tea salon hidden inside La Musee de la Vie Romantique, 16 rue Chaptal, Paris 9th.

Garden at the musee de la vie romantique: source

four. Favourite everyone-knows-it-but-it's-still-good spot? Place des Vosges...

five. What is your newest discovery in Paris? What about somewhere you've been going since forever but can't quite give up? My newest discovery in Paris is this delicious restaurant called Le Chateaubriand on 131 avenue Parmentier in the 11th. Interior designed by Rem Koolhaas!! Also I have been going to the same patisserie, Arnaud del Montel on rue des Martyrs in the 9th for the last 20 years, picking the same cake called Le Madras (coconut mousse and pineapple chutney, yum).

six. Where is the best place for.... morning coffee? meal with friends? romantic rendez-vous? late night drink? even later-night boogie? I don't drink coffee but the best hot chocolate is at Angelina's at 226 rue de Rivoli. A meal with friends has to be at any classic brasserie for a tartare steak, french fries and glass of red wine. The ideal romantic rendez vous is on the grass in front of the Basilic of Sacre Coeur at Montmartre, with some fresh figs, a small bit of cheese, a skinny baguette and a bottle of champagne (I am about to marry the man who shared just that with me once). A last boogie is great at the Favela Chic, 18 rue du faubourg du temple in the 11th.

seven. Where are Paris's style spots? Where is the best shopping? Merci (111 bd beaumarchais, paris 3rd) is a great fashion and home temple. The little streets around Merci are amazing, it is part of the Marais and is full of established and unknown cool boutiques.

 Merci: designboom

eight. What is something you can get/read/experience/eat that you can only do in Paris? Get a Velib' for the day (parisian bikes for rent in the street), dine on top of Pompidou museum with breathtaking view over the city, get the most delicious Nutella crepe for 2 euros in any "creperie" van on the street, watch parisian eclectic fashion in the metro.

nine. You can tell a lot about a city from their airport. Describe Paris's. Brand new architecture, small gates, high ceiling, very stylish airport magazine (air france magazine is almost as good as french vogue), delicious cheap and healthy food options, huge waiting list for a manicure and a Laduree booth to stock up on macaroons before the flight. Incredible!

ten. How would you describe Paris to someone who has never been there before? A beautiful mess.

 Paris: Grayzine

We love this guide from one of the world's chic-est Parisienne expats! Elise has worked at Hermes, The Corner Shop and Belinda and now she has branched out on her own to start her own candle and essential oil label - named Maison.Balzac after her heritage (Elise is the great great granddaughter of French novelist Honore Balzac). As scented candle connoisseurs, we love the simple labelling and the pure fragrances of her beautiful candles (see more on Style Me Romy) and we can't wait for the label to launch. Keep your eyes on Maison.Balzac! And keep checking back for more of our city guides coming soon...

BENAH LOVES | Mums

It's mother's day today. It seems like as good a time as any to think about the role of mothers, and be so, so, so grateful for everything they have done for us. There are really no words to say thank you for all the love and time that they spend with us, when we were kids and now. They constantly reinforced how wonderful it was to be us, and we are so grateful for this, as with so many unsaid things. They believe in us, always, and they are our role models and heroes all through life, and this takes on a whole new meaning when we become mothers ourselves.

If you are a mum, thinking of becoming a mum or just want to watch the most wonderful film. We recommend sitting down with a very big box of tissues to watch The Help. Such a heart warming, beautiful film about growing up, childhood and the important roles people play in our lives.

For some more mum lovin' this mother's day, check out two incredible online features. The first being Refinery 29's profile of 8 stylish and beautiful mums with their kids (including the lovely Jade from Arnsdorf!). The second is one of our personal favourite websites of all time. The Glow is kind of like The Selby, but with mums and their kids. Enough said.

BENAH LOVES | The artist formerly known as

We might be going to a Prince concert. We might be. And we're hoping with every fibre of our being that we do go because is there seriously anything better in this whole wide world than the artist formerly known as? Look at that hair! Those pants! Those little hip thrusts! And name one male artist today who would pair a cropped skivvy singlet with a studded leather jacket. We love it. And since there were plenty of 80s-redux fitted crop tops stomping down those MBFWA runways we reckon that Prince is having a bit of a comeback. Better start doing those stomach crunches... Eh not really. who can be bothered to think about that when there are Prince concerts to go to?? Hopefully those ticket-giving Gods that have promised us a ticket come through so we can groove to this tomorrow...

BENAH LOVES | Need Supply

We've got an exciting new American-based stockist next season. Need Supply Co is one of those painfully hip stores that doesn't even have to try. It's that cool. It started in 1996 as a purveyor of vintage denim in Richmond, California, and has grown into something of a retail empire, stocking labels including APC, Rag & Bone and Steven Alan, as well as their own line and an impressive menswear catalogue (we're in great company). They've also got a really cool blog, which shares everything from tracks the team has been listening to, to studio visits with some of their many designers. We love the relaxed vibe of this store and can't wait to see our designs in there! Just another excuse for a trip back to America...

BENAH LOVES | Natalie Joos

There aren't many people in the world who can pull of high-collared sleeveless blouses, stripey baseball caps and metallic wrap mini skirts. And there is only one person who can pull all of that off and finish the outfit with our mini Kodi bag in a futuristic silver (keep your eyes peeled for this one next season!) and matching gunmetal grey Limits cuffs. And that person is Natalie Joos. The casting director, street-style favourite and incredible blogger over at Tales of Endearment has some of the best style in the business - what with her slightly kooky approach to colour and prints and her sunny, cheerful take on fashion. We love a girl who doesn't take it all too seriously - the kind who would pair hot-off-the-runway Ellery with a cheap tourist's cap from Bondi Beach. And we're very glad that Natalie loves us right back
Anyone who knows us will attest that we're secretly magpies. We love anything shiny, reflective, sparkly and eye-catching. (Reflective sunglasses? Holographics? Glitter? It was one of our favourite things in September). Which is why we love the many varieties of silver that have wormed their way into our collections both this season and next. From brushed silver Limits cuffs to this incredible almost-matte mini Kodi, there's more than enough to build a spaceship. And why not pair them all together like Natalie? Do you like metallics as much as we do?

THINGS WE LOVE IN | MAY

Rachel Kara really is something else. Photographer, blogger and total gorgeous soul, she's always got a smile on her face and a readiness to go with the flow. With her relaxed style and easygoing outlook she's a total Benah babe, and we couldn't be more excited to have her sharing a top 10 this month. And it's C-themed - from one of our favourite things; coconuts, to keeping warm in cashmere and cosy knits to, Keith Urban, which doesn't technically start with C, but we'll give it to her, check out her list below (it just might be our favourite so far!)

All photos by Rachel Kara unless specified

one. The Country

Large open expanses, crisp clean air, long grass, farm houses, wooden swings, fires being lit as the sun disappears the behind the hills...and cows (I think they're v pretty)...and no phone reception. Even one night out of the big smoke makes the world of difference after a busy week.

 two.  Cups of tea

Tea is a constant throughout all months of the year but my hunt for a never-ending mug is becoming a little more urgent as winter fast approaches. The kettle boils any number of times before the day properly kicks off in our house.

 picture: dress up

A red knit is essential in every wardrobe. Last year I was wearing my Nannas but she has reclaimed it (thanks Nanna) so am needing a replacement. This one by Dress Up ticks all my boxes.

four. Coconuts Young

Coconuts with nothing more than a hole hacked away with one of those big Aladdin knives to fit a straw. These may seem like more of a summer delicacy but perhaps it's the hydration factor that has me only recently addicted. I should introduce you to the insanely cute human in the photo, that's Erin and when I'm not taking photos I am her nanny - hard job!

I just don't think there is any possible way to not like this lady, and I think everyone is that more aware of it after her friendly smiles and beautiful street style snaps infected MBFWA.

six. Clouds

There have been some spectacular things going on in the sky this month. Sunsets have been looking like silky liquid fires, sunrise is late enough to catch without feeling like a zombie and the lower sun drops the prettier the clouds and shadows become.

seven. Cashmere

Is there anyone who doesn't love cashmere? Didn't think so. It's soft and warm and makes you A++++ for hugs if you're wearing it. I do own and cherish it in jumper and blanket form but have discovered a it in head covering form, ie beanie...and guess who happens to make the very one I'm lusting after? Benah

The best kind of cocktail bar you can visit any night of the week, sit and chat with the bar tenders, give them a few flavours your palette is feeling and trust they whip up something you like. I haven't been failed yet. I like it strong but tasty which equates to expensive but I'm ok with that. I now have; a frequent, a local and a destination that I alternate between depending on the goings on for a night.

... or more specifically Hannah-Rose. I like how she's so pent up full of knowledge on seriously, like, everything from pop culture, movies, writers, fashion and people to travel, history, food, wine etc etc and the way the most obscure facts burst in to conversation at the most appropriate point making it seem like real basic general knowledge. I like how when we talk about food and brainstorm ideas for our future magazine we get very excited and start speaking very quickly and loudly and end up in hysterics!

 image: The Voice

I truly believe you need to get your womanhood checked if you are not completely smitten with Keith. This particular sequence was taken whilst he was watching Matt Hetherington sing Evie on The Voice, I suggest watching it. I actually suggest watching the whole show if you're not already...and no I'm not biased just because my not-so-little sister happens to be a contestant (plug).
